I am passionate about skills development and consider myself to be a life-long learner. I love music, art, poetry, reading, the outdoors and people. I am a teacher, coach and counsellor. I am an experienced subject specialist and have a background in Psychology which gives me a clear understanding of how people learn. This makes me a very successful teacher. I am registered at SACE (South African Council for Educators), COMMENSA and CCSA.I do a general assessment of my student's skills in the related learning area during the first lesson which provides the client/student with an insightful and goal orientated tutor plan designed with their specific needs in mind. Each individual experiences the learning process in their own unique way which is why I strive to understand how my student learns and then design a learning program that will help them learn effectively as we create a tutor map with specific skills/ goals in mind. I believe in setting specific goals and an outcome-based timeline to achieve these goals to ensure the success of my student/client.
